I found a frog in a pot of old herbs from last year that just bloomed and didn't really produce but a sprig of chives. It was a tree frog that wasn't the prettiest but we sure had fun! I love discovering new things with my son.

See the frog?

He liked holding it.

And squishing it. (see the arms and legs flalling? That was a good lesson in gentleness)

Mama see the frog? I know I'll....

Put it on your foot!

It's better on my hand where I can see it~

Me holding the frog and Angus signing frog. (his version at least)

Put him back where I found him. An hour later he was gone. Thanks for visiting Mr. Frog! (Don't worry no warts were developed and a thurough hand washing commenced after the play!)

I love love love these pictures, I would've been screaming running towards the hills had I seen that frog... brave momma and brave angus.... Did I mention I have a frog phobia? We had so many in florida, I came home one night when I was in high school, and tried to open the front door to my parents house and there was a TOAD on the door knob... NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. I hate frogs.
what a fun afternoon! love the pictures, too. i always get peed on when i pick up a frog. but they're so cool, i can't help it. (sorry, Rebecca!)
