It's another day closer til Scott returns. Our days have been filled with endless tasks of getting things ready for his homecoming. Mostly projects around the house that have been neglected this past year as I've focused on finishing grad school and raising Angus and even more so because I've been living as a bachelorette.
This morning we attempted MOPS again. I was very excited to go and didn't think Angus would have a problem with childcare because he didn't last time. I think the big issue is he's a HUGE sympathy crier. Often times just strolling around the supermarket he will start whining or crying because he hears another child doing the same. Needless to say we didn't make it through the main speaker or the craft. (It's a good thing I don't know what it was cuz I was already disappointed) Ah well. A few snuggles on the couch watching signing time after a snack was nice. Then he slept for 2.5 hours. Another nice thing.
We were successful in finding a nice curtain rod for our living room curtains that are still waiting to be made. Here's a pic of what part of it looks like. I really love this fabric and how it ties together the brown of the couch and the gold of the walls. And on a nice sunny day you can notice some glimmer from the gold in some spots.
Angus has picked up on cars recently. He now likes to sit on his truck
He's been Mr. chatterbox lately. Tonight especially he was trying very hard to communicate. :)

cute curtains. jim would not approve, of course, as they are borderline grandma-ish, but what do boys know anyways??
