I went to a "redeployment briefing" today which means I sat in a conference room listening to power point presentations on details of when Scott could come home and all the details surrounding the welcome home ceremony etc. The best presenter was a guy who talked about mental health issues. He was very animated and loud. It certainly kept our attention on the rainy cold morning when everyone wished they could snuggle back under the covers or call it a movie day and do nothing but watch movies with the kiddos. (Angus would be delighted with a signing time marathon all day long) We're very much looking forward to Scott's arrival home some time around the end of next month. It's crazy to think we could have less than 30 days until he's home!?!?!?
I really don't have much more to blog about tonight other than how I'm enjoying Angus so much. Today I sat with him on the dining room floor and tossed a plastic ring back and forth from him as he giggled so contently. He's starting to back up into my lap now. I cherish little things like that.
This posted picture is when he fell asleep in the car and I put him down for a nap. He looks like his daddy falling asleep.

I love when they snooze away like that. They just look so peaceful!
