Today was the day we were going to the Christian Way Farm's Harvest Praise in Hopkinsville KY about 45 minutes away from our house. I did not realize how MUCH fun we were going to have! The morning didn't quite go as planned with Angus refusing to have an early morning nap so he'd be in a decent mod for a few hours. So of course he fell asleep 10 minutes before we pulled into the parking field to wait for the tractor to pull our hay ride up the hill to the farm. Well it didn't matter. He was so excited to see his friends Wesley and Marianne and all the other kids not to mention the animals everywhere. He especially enjoyed the goats. They seemed to wander over to the fence more often to invite petting and feeding. We had so much fun that we stayed for just over 3 hours! And I had to marvel and how well Angus did without a stroller. He often would not go anywhere without wanting to hold my hand (something that is not true in most settings lately...he's very inquisitive and LOVES to explore anywhere). Things we enjoyed included: hayrides, tractor pull, wagon ride, pumpkin patch, pumpkins are balls aren't they?, puppet show, cows, pigs and piglets, goats and kids, donkeys, cheez its, swings, and holding hands. Here are some pictures of the day to showcase some of the fun. I uploaded 35 of the 134 I took today on facebook. You can see them all here. We hope you get a chance to enjoy some of falls harvest blessings!
