our friend Katie bowling
ready set go!
watching the ball
Angus trying to decide which ball to use.
Our friends Wesley and Marianne watching their ball down the alley.Today has been pretty busy. The morning was relaxed with rest and the indulgence of the new highly coveted in our household...baby signing time 3 & 4 marathon. Angus could only sit still during the first one but he still loved them both. It's amazing how he's learning them so much more often these days. Today I asked him if he was all done or if he wanted more and he signed more to me! yay! My two new favorite signs are balloon and bubble because he loves them both. Lately wherever we go he spots something in the form of balloons and he says oooooooooooo as in the sound of ballooooooooon. Now we can learn to differentiate between balloon and ball using our signs. I love the new dvds. The new songs are great and catchy and fun and the animation reiterates the signs and the kids in these are so good at signing too! (granted they all look like they are at least 18 months old mostly 24 months and up) So major kudos to Rachel Coleman and the signing time crew!
We headed to the mall today in search of some new decor for the house in anticipation of Scott returning early from deployment hopefully some time around Thanksgiving. We didn't find much but did score some good deals at old navy...how about 4 pair of pants and a shirt for $38 and that's in adult sizes. We meandered everywhere for about 2.5 hours. Angus was such a good boy. No major meltdowns until he couldn't find his paci in the car.
After nap time we attempted a new game. Bowling! We met our friends at the bowling alley on post and bowled part of a game (the novelty wore off) and enjoyed some pizza in the cafe area aftewards. Angus was in hog heaven with all the balls everywhere. He didn't care about knocking pins down but sure enjoyed handling and pushing the balls down the alley.
Today I also learned that I passed the two Praxis exams I took in Septe
Tomorrow we're going to MOPS and Saturday we're going to a pumpkin patch/farm. Always staying busy. Hope you're enjoying the beautiful fall colors!
