greatful

Thursdays are one of my favorite times of the week because Subway has their meal combo with my favorite sub...italian bmt.  As we were waiting in line the sandwhich artists commented on how cute Angus is.  (He was wearing a matching tiger cub bib with his little tiger outfit)  And the gentleman ringing us up commented on how he and his wife were trying to get pregnant and really frustrated by it and wondered how long it took us.  Goose was a welcome home baby from deployment #2.  It was one of those moments where I was kind of taken aback in my ho hum life and remembered again at God's miracle of Goose in our lives.  

The latest and greatest from the past few days:

- Angus laughs hysterically when you say "yeeeeeeeehaww!"

- I don't remember the teething/ear infection/cold combo creating such a whiney child before.  

- Bringing out old baby signing time videos are mesmerizing.

- I'm addicted to Scramble on facebook and all things Etsy.

- I broke our digital camera by haphazardly tossing scissors out of Angus's reach. (It still works but the lcd screen is shot and there's no view finder so it's hit or miss knowing if you have a good photo or not)

- fly swatters are fun especially when you repeat over and over "whack those flies angus whack 'em good!" giggles ensue. 

- I'm greatful for neighbors/friends mowing my lawn!

- I cannot wait for Scott to come home.  

- I'm greatful for the Chaplains providing free making and sending of DVD's of Scott reading books to Angus.

- I'm thankful to Aunt Darliene for providing the Belly Button book by Sandra Boynton it's so funny!

- I love the new click clack moo book...I think it's Quack Thwack Whack!  Angus laughed at the sound effects as we read it at Borders

- The list could go on and on.  

On those dull drum days I hope to look back at lists like this and remember the great things that are still happening even though everything else around makes me blah.  And once again I'm forever greatful for Goose!
